USB Moment

Ever thought of the similarity between 'us' as people and a USB key. Believe it or not we are awfully similar, so much so its scary.

A USB's life:

-Data storage device, made empty

-Contains and transports files from where is it hoisted

-If plugged into an infected computer will get infected and transport that same virus to its next host.

-Does not have the power to clean itself, the owner/user runs virus scans and cleans it out when it is infected.

-Due to great capacities, its possible to store vital as well as worthless data without knowing

Sounds familiar...

Only this time, the information we carry is that from past experiences, what we've stored consciously or subconsciously. That predetermines the way we react to people situations. Half the time we don't even know what we are distributing when we get connected to people.

However if we ask God to empty us and fill us with His word (foundation for faith - proof that we have hope ), power ( softwares and all kinds of apps),and wisdom ( many books 'for dummies') " Like USB's " we would be transmit that the rest of the world.

There is a potential in you and I that we have not yet even begun unlocking. See every situation as an attempt to bring out something hidden in you that you never knew existed.

Father, in your mercy release to us the knowledge of what we are, who we are as vessels in your hands. Help us know that we transmit things either knowingly or not based on the data we carry. Remove every corrupted file in our heart and memory that we would bring life wherever we go. May we be full of great data to be readily available when needed. We look not at things seen but that which is unseen, looking unto you to Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith
